Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: April 2026

Our Commitment

Connection Road has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), on any product or service we operate. We are committed to keeping our platform free of this content, to acting promptly on credible reports, and to cooperating fully with law enforcement and child-safety organizations.

Scope of the Service

The Connection Road Photo Album Viewer apps (iOS and Android) are anonymous, account-less viewers for galleries owned by gallery owners who use the Connection Road web platform. The viewer apps do not allow users to upload, message, comment on, or share content with other users. Original media files are stored in the gallery owner's connected cloud storage account (Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive). Connection Road servers cache thumbnails and display-size images temporarily to provide a fast viewing experience.

All content uploaded to galleries is the responsibility of the gallery owner who connected their cloud storage to Connection Road. Gallery owners agree to our Terms of Service when they create a Connection Road account.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Connection Road and will result in immediate removal and account termination:

  • Any visual depiction that sexualizes a minor (a person under 18 years of age)
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 2256
  • Content that grooms, solicits, or attempts to engage minors in sexual activity
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery involving minors
  • Content that endangers a minor's physical or emotional well-being
  • Content that links to, advertises, or directs users toward any of the above

Detection and Moderation

Gallery owners are contractually responsible under our Terms of Service for the legality and appropriateness of content they upload to galleries connected to Connection Road. We act on the following signals to identify violating content:

  • User reports submitted via our reporting mechanism (see below)
  • Notifications from cloud storage providers (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) regarding content stored in connected accounts
  • Notifications from law enforcement, NCMEC, or other child-safety organizations

Credible reports are reviewed by Connection Road staff. Verified violating content is removed from our caches and the responsible gallery and account are terminated. We preserve relevant evidence for law enforcement consistent with applicable law.

Reporting Mechanism

If you encounter content on Connection Road that you believe sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor, please report it to us immediately:

Connection Road Child Safety Team

Email: support@connectionroad.com

When reporting, please include the gallery URL or screenshot, a brief description of the concern, and any other context you can provide. We aim to acknowledge credible reports within 24 hours and to remove verified violating content as quickly as possible.

For suspected child sexual abuse material in the United States, you can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. Outside the United States, please contact your local child-safety hotline or law enforcement.

Legal Compliance

Connection Road operates in compliance with applicable child-safety laws, including:

  • 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — reporting obligations for U.S. electronic service providers to NCMEC's CyberTipline
  • 18 U.S.C. § 2256 — federal definitions of child pornography and related offenses
  • Google Play Child Safety Standards policy
  • Apple App Store Review Guidelines on objectionable content
  • Applicable child-protection laws in the jurisdictions where the service is offered

Account Termination and Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Accounts confirmed to have uploaded or distributed CSAM, or to have used Connection Road to facilitate the exploitation of a minor, are terminated immediately and reported to NCMEC as required by U.S. law. We cooperate with valid legal process from law enforcement, including preservation requests, subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants, in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to These Standards

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time as our service evolves and as legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
